Well, Matt read my blog post about Lance Armstrong last night and told me I was “completely wrong and Lance is a giant douche who sucks and I have no reason to argue otherwise“. Point taken. I think we agreed to disagree on this one.
Anyway, I never got around to talking about one of my favorite reasons to visit Atlanta: Tin Lizzy’s! Tin Lizzy’s was started by some FSU dudes (go Noles!) and the food is amaze. To start we had guacamole and salsa and some fried pickles:
They have dozens of different kinds of tacos. I stuck with my favorite taco, the Southern Comfort (grilled chicken, goat cheese, fried pickles, green onions and bbq sauce) and the new-to-me Chicken con Queso (fried chicken, red pepper, pico de gallo and topped with queso):
This was the perfect post race meal.
After lunch we hit the road. Matt drove and I dozed off because I wanted to really make sure that I kept the title for World’s Worst Roadtrip Partner. I think that is one title I will not being giving up anytime soon.
I did wake up long enough to see this giant truck of cotton:
Don’t they kind of look like giant cannolis? Yum, I could go for a cancoli right about now…
I also made sure my eyes were open long enough to drink my road trip beverage of choice:
While I was at the rest stop loading up on Yoohoo, I also found my most favorite mint dark chocolate m&ms. Unfortunately I was too busy sleeping and chatting everyone’s ear off to eat them on the drive #chocolateloverfail. This worked out for the best though because I was able to enjoy these minty wonders yesterday while waiting for the movers to show up at the office:
Have you ever had fried pickles?
I have never heard of them until I moved to Tallahassee. They are now one of my favorites.
What are your road trip munchies?

/ January 17, 2013Haha yeah. Thankfully I ride in groups with the boy driving, so I automatically get the front seat. Makes me a little more tolerable.
