After weeks of my work space looking like this:
I have finally settled in to this:
If I can’t be outside all day I can at least glare out of my window and daydream until quitting time. My allergies are super pumped that the majority of the move is over too. Dust and I are not friends and these past weeks have left me feeling less than stellar.
Another perk to the move winding down is that the office fridge and microwave is set up! My stomach (and wallet) is happy to get back to leftovers for lunch.
A little salmon from Monday and black beans and rice from Tuesday=delicious Wednesday. Also, let’s take a minute to notice how nice and clean the fridge is.
My bet is that by Friday it will be jammed up with all kinds of mystery Tupperware containers and expired mayonnaise.
I am, however, riding out the we can wear jeans while moving as long as possible.
By far my favorite part of the move is the relaxed dress code. This girl does not enjoy business attire.
On the schedule for tonight is dinner, Rowlates!, and doing something about my witch nails.
My nails grow sooo fast and long nails are not really conducive to my lifestyle aka clumsy, unladylike habits. Plus, I am starting to look like the back scratch girl from Seinfeld.
So I ended up on Pinterest looking for some nailspiration, natch. I saw dozens of ambidextrous friendly masterpieces before finding the most ridic of all things ridic:
I then immediately abandoned Pinterest and decided that my go to OPI Bubble Bath will do just fine.
Do you suffer from allergies?
I am allergic to all animals (except horses, go figure) and massively allergic to dust.
Nails: long, short, painted, unpainted

/ January 23, 2013Allergy shots for almost 7 years here. Cats, trees, grass, ragweed and dust mites. Awful. But the shots did help.

/ January 23, 2013I have considered shots but just stay away from animals instead. And try to convince Matt to dust as often as possible

/ January 23, 2013I almost never paint my nails since I chip them the day I paint them every single time. I’m a train wreck haha
Runner Girl Eats
/ January 24, 2013I’m the same way. Mine are rarely painted.

/ January 23, 2013I don’t think I have allergies, but maybe I just live in good locations for that kind of thing? Painted nails!!

/ January 23, 2013Those nails are giving me the willies!
My nails grow just past my fingers and then they break, tear and peel. I wish mine would grow!
I love painted nails but they chip so fast!

/ January 24, 2013I rarely paint my nails because as soon as they chip I start peeling the polish of and it tears up my nails:/

/ January 24, 2013i don’t suffer from animal allergies (well that i know of lol). short painted nails
that way they don’t chip and last me a week.
Runner Girl Eats
/ January 24, 2013I’d be thrilled if mine lasted a week! I usually only get a few days lol

/ January 24, 2013Lol to witch nails. I like short nails unless I’m getting a french manicure and then they can be a little longer. I love painted nails but I’m the worst at chipping them so I usually rock plain boring nails. That’s awesome that you get a window at your desk!

/ January 24, 2013I loveeee my window. I would go nutso without it.
