I am taking a little cue from Cori at Olivetorun.com to do a little Sunday confessional today.
Confession…I am a Nole that loves the Canes. I grew up in Miami going to University of Miami football games with my whole family. When I came to Florida State for school 9 years ago (umm…how did that happen!?) I jumped the U ship and started to bleed Garnet and Gold. The Hurricanes aren’t exactly welcomed in these parts but the only team more hated is the University of Florida Gators. So yesterday when the two teams played each other it was completely appropriate for me to bust out my Grandpa’s 1984 Championship tshirt and cheer against the Gators. FYI 30 years is the perfect amount of time needed to break in a tshirt to the perfect comfort level.
Confession…I see nothing wrong with going out for sushi and only ordering dishes with tuna. Last night I started with the tuna dumplings and then had the tuna party roll. Bring it on, mercury poisoning.
Confession…I fall for the Buy One, Get One Free trick all. the. time. Case in point: the Limited. I went in for a skirt and was told that pants are BOGO…so I bought one and got one. I was also given a coupon for 50% off any top…so I bought one. Don’t worry, I also bought the skirt.
Confession…I have ‘styled’ (aka not worn in a messy top bun) my hair more times in the past week than I have all last month. I am not loving the change. I see many ponytails in my near future.
Confession…I was not carded Friday night when I ordered sake or Saturday when I ordered a champagne martini and it made me way sadder than it should have. Apparently my wrinkle cream is not delivering all of the miracles that Lancome promises. Confession part 2…this confession makes it seem like I drink way more than I actually do.
Confession…I think We Bought A Zoo is one of the greatest movies. It has been playing on HBO a bunch lately and every time I see it on, I watch it. Besides loving Matt Damon, the story is great. After watching it I always want to take a big leap of faith and do something brave. It’s probably a good thing I am allergic to everything because I would have probably bought a zoo after watching this movie for the third time.
What are your Sunday confessions?
Favorite thing to order at a sushi restaurant?
What movie do you always stop to watch when you catch it on tv?
